In previous roles, I’ve led end-to-end design processes, including conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and leveraging data-driven insights to iterate on designs. My ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams ensures alignment between product vision and user needs, fostering seamless product narratives and impactful outcomes.
As a hands-on innovator, I stay at the forefront of industry trends to deliver best-in-class designs. My strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills allow me to articulate design decisions effectively, creating stakeholder alignment and enhancing product success. I have a Master of Information Management and Systems, from UC Berkeley's iSchool, with a focus in human-computer interaction.
The bulk of my career has been in designing enterprise software for organizations, with a number of years and projects dedicated to internal software for organizations, such as banking institutions. From 2010-2015, I was a principal consultant in product design for a financial services boutique UX-driven firm. As high performing consultants, we were dropped in to multi-million dollar projects with large banks to facilitate either system overhauls or net-new software for employees, or institutional clients. I was a lead designer and team leader for many of these projects, most notably, JP Morgan Chase and US Bank. These months and years long engagements covered the most difficult subject matter I have encountered to date in my career, only challenged by production and payroll software at Entertainment Partners.
I have led teams of up to 15 individual contributors and during my career and was responsible for leading the design process, implementations of new pattern libraries and design system among other job duties.
I have an excellent grasp of B2E & B2B SaaS software and understand how to engage and manage design lifecycles at large organizations.
